About Us
The Carnegie Tri-County Free Fair has been entertaining people of all ages for over 110 years. The event is held annually in October at the Carnegie Town Park in Carnegie, OK. With a wide array of rides, games, live music, and delicious food, we offer fun for the whole family.
The Fair was founded at the same time the Town of Carnegie was formed in 1903. It was held in August then to help farmers showcase their crops and animals, and provide a place for the community to come together to celebrate their achievements.
Through many years of growth, the Fair over time added carnival rides and games, of which many lasted until the early 21st century. Many of the older rides were beyond repair and were removed. In 2008, through the tremendous support from the community, three refurbished rides were purchased and installed at the fairgrounds. Over the next decade and a half, five more amusement rides were added to the collection. You can learn more about these rides on our Rides Page.
While we certainly are proud of our heritage, we are always looking to the future in trying to find a way to bring our community the best event possible. With the help of a group of dedicated volunteers, our fair continues to grow and expand its offerings even now in 2024. Our community strongly supports our efforts and people from many different businesses and organizations donate their time as well as expertise to make this event a success each year.
Our success is dedicated to our community. We are a nonprofit organization that exists solely for the betterment and enhancement of the town and surrounding areas. We look forward to seeing you here in Carnegie in October to have fun with us!
