PRODUCTS
Vegetables should be carefully selected for their quality and uniformity, and should be carefully cleaned and must be of size and character suitable for table use.
PREPARING BUNDLES FOR FORAGE
Remember that in this class you are showing for foliage value and not grain, so that most leafy type in the field should be selected. Cut close to the ground, tie in loose bundles about six inches in diameter with cloth string or ribbon, place in dark place to cure; when cured take any of the stems that have not retained their natural leaf color and tie the bundles tightly, making them 3 to 5 inches in diameter, being careful to retain all the leaves possible.
ENTRIES WILL BE RELEASED 7:00-8:00 PM. ON SATURDAY.
